Here's one of my favorite things about staying at Majestic Sun. You walk out toward the Gulf, the sand goes that soft sugar-white you've heard about, and there (already set up and waiting) are two chairs and an umbrella. You don't haul anything. You don't fight an umbrella pole in the wind. You just sit down.

A few people ask me how that works, so let me lay it out.

How much does beach service cost at Majestic Sun?

Depends on the kind of day you're after. Here's what they were charging as of July 2026. Prices move, so treat this as a good guide and check the current rate:

Two chairs and an umbrella: $60 for the full day, or $300 for the week.
Just want the afternoon? There's a half-day rate: two chairs and an umbrella for $40. It's not posted on their sign; I asked one of the attendants myself.
Rolling with a crew? Five chairs and a 14-foot giant umbrella run $135 a day.
You can also go à la carte: a single chair is $20 a day, an umbrella $25, and that big 14-footer on its own is $75.

Staying the week, they do a nice little deal: pay for five days, get the sixth free. Two things worth knowing up front: they set up rain or shine (no weather refunds), and tax and fees get added on top.

Do you need a reservation?

For the half-day walk-up, no. You just find the attendants when you get down to the sand, first come, first served. For a full day or a full week, it's smarter to set it up ahead. Call LDV at 866-651-1869 or book at LDVbeach.com. Their hours run about 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening, weather permitting.
