Hidden Beaches Near Miramar Beach: A Local's Guide
BEACH · 5 min read · Roger Ridpath
Skip the crowded public access points. These quiet stretches are where locals actually go.
Everyone knows Henderson Beach State Park. It's beautiful, but it's not a secret. Here are the spots the locals protect.
1. The Dune Allen Walkovers
Park at the Ed Walline access in Santa Rosa Beach and walk east. Within ten minutes you'll have a hundred yards of beach practically to yourself.
2. Miramar Beach Regional Access (East End)
Most people pile into the west parking area. Walk past them. The beach widens dramatically as you head east toward the Seascape resort.
That wide stretch toward Seascape is the one we look at every morning — our condo sits right on it.
